Advocacy Initiatives: PFP participates in efforts to fight anti-gay discrimination and is a voice for LBGTQ+ families in the greater Philadelphia region. We've partnered with Family Equality to gain support for the Every Child Deserves a Family Act. We were also an intervener in the Fulton v. City of Philadelphia case being represented by the ACLU. More recently, we have stood up against the Dobbs v Jackson decision and the Pennsylvania Senate Bills 1278 and 1277 and House Bill 972.
Our terrific groups: Infant/Toddler Playgroup, New and Expectant Parents Group, Kids Group, Parents groups (sometimes divided by gender, including dads gatherings and a group for trans/gnc parents). Many of these groups meet regularly. If you have an idea for a get-together, please let us know!
