Events
Philadelphia Family Pride holds dozens of events a year for LGBTQ parents, prospective parents and our kids throughout the greater Philadelphia region.
Our large annual events include our Winter Brunch in January and the Juneteenth Family Pride Picnic. Smaller social events include meetups at local kid-friendly attractions like the Smith Playground, neighborhood potlucks in the spring and fall, and discounted group tickets to shows and area attractions.
We go on trips, too! Before COVID we annually visited Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. We hold our annual Camping with Pride event in the once or twice a year.
PFP marches in pride parades in Philly and Upper Darby and sponsors the Family Zone at Philly Pride and attends regional pride events in June. Families that go to Provincetown, MA for the annual Family Week get together there as well.
We also offer educational programming through Paths to Parenthood classes, stand alone events like our foster parent recruitment info sessions, and our annual Family Matters Conference on topics ranging from adoption options and assisted reproduction to working with schools to make them more inclusive of LGBTQ+ families.
If you have a suggestion for a get-together, please fill out this PFP Hangout Submission Form with the details. We'll get back to you if your idea works with our schedule and mission. Approved hangouts will then be promoted on our website and social media.
